Isaac would want to help others.
It is in love,
that we honor his memory this way.

If you would like to contribute please contact Debra Kerr at deb.ltd@juno.com
The Memorial Fund is non-profit, all funds go to the scholarships. If you wish to participate please email me
and I will let you know how you may do so. It is a worthy cause that has touched many lives for the better.

The scholarships will be for graduating Seniors who wanted to apply and who submit all of the required documents including references and a one page essay on why this scholarship is personally important to them.    The money may be used for any College, University, Technical, Vocational School or Community College.
The 2010 scholarship amounts are yet to be determined  Each year we have given above and beyond our minimum commitment due to the tremendous support shown.

In 2009 we gave three $400 scholarships to excellent graduating James Monroe High School Seniors who will 'Pass On The Good' and be a light in this world.  I thank my parents and friends who helped make it possible for a third year.  Please see the 2009 Awards page for pictures and information on the winners.

The fundraising efforts in the past and this website have opened the door to share information on crisis intervention, suicide prevention, hope for healing and recovery and resources for all ages within the community and the schools.  Not a subject most want to talk about but 1 in 3 teenagers have thought about it... If we can help encourage and change one person's mind then it is all worth it.

In 2008, Seven $500 Scholarships were  awarded to Isaac's fellow students, graduating James Monroe (JM) High School Seniors.  Please check out the Award Winners page for more info on last years scholarship winners.

We would like to acknowledge the support in 2008 of the James Monroe Athletic Department Faculty, the JM sports teams and their families, and last but not least to Isaac's friends/our friends and my family.
You all were a true encouragement. I couldn't have done it without you. Thank You!

We also want to express our deep appreciation to all of those who made the wonderful donations for the 2007 scholarships.  Your donations honored the heart of Isaac and how his life touched so many.  Seven scholarships were given in his memory to further his fellow student’s education:
Four $500 and three $350 scholarships!

Thank you for your contributions!
